5 Juices to Love

Juicing can be a yummy way to get your daily dose of veggies and fruits. I find it a great after yoga drink. Here are just a few of my favorites. I use organic fruits and veggies but here's a list of produce that you really should be buying organic. If you don't have a juicer you can make these in a blender but you'll likely need to add liquid of some kind as the pulp is not being removed but mixed in.

Cucumber Refresher

  • 3 Persian Cucumbers
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 cup strawberries (tops removed)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (or you can juice a quarter lemon)

Sunshine in a Glass

  • 2 - 3 carrots
  • 2 oranges (peeled)
  • one inch piece of ginger (peeled)

Spicy Cider

  • 2 apples (cored)
  • one inch piece of ginger (peeled)
  • cinnamon sprinkled on top

Purple Passion

  • 1 small beet
  • 1 orange (peeled)
  • 1/2 cucumber

Green Machine

  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 kale leaf
  • 1 apple
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 lime
