The wheat free pantry is a big different from the mainstream pantry. When we stop using wheat, we use all kinds of great alternatives. This list is a combination of items listed in Wheat Belly and The Grain Brain

To go truly wheat free it helps to first eliminate all wheat products from your pantry. Some of these can be surprising. Of course there's the usual cereal, bread, crackers, pasta etc. But did you know many soups have wheat or gluten added? Frozen hashbrowns, chewing gum,

  • Coconut flour
  • Chick pea flour
  • Chia seed, meal and flour
  • Golden Flax seed flour
  • Other nut meals

Baking Needs

  • Baking soda
  • Baking power (aluminum free)
