Wheat Free Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe is flourless but does have sugar. I've modified it from a version I found online from Southern Living.

Ingredients

1 cup of almond butter (or nut butter of your choice)

1 egg

3/4 cup of coconut sugar 

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate morsels


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Drop rounded tablespoons on a parchment sheet covered cookie sheet. Bake for 11-14 minutes till light brown and fluffy.

Remove from oven and let cool on the cookie sheet for five minutes, (or they will fall apart), then move to a cooling rack.
